Janet Leigh was born July 1927 in Merced in California and passed away in October of 2004. Her most renowned role was as Marion Crane in the 1960 film Psycho. Leigh also appeared in a variety of other films such as The Romance of Rosy Ridge, If Winter Comes, Little Women, The Red Danube, Holiday Affair, Angels in the Outfield, Two Tickets to Broadway, Confidentially, Houdini, Prince Valiant, My Sister Eileen, Safari, Jet Pilot, Who Was That Lady?, Pepe, The Manchurian Candidate, Bye Bye Birdie, Wives and Lovers, The Spy in the Green Hat, Boardwalk, The Fog, and Halloween H20: 20 Years On. Leigh was nominated for an Academy Award for her role as the Best Supporting Actress of Psycho in 1961. Leigh was honored with an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame 1777 Vine Street in 1960. She was four times married, including to Tony Curtis. Her children were Kelly Curtis as well as Jamie Lee Curtis. She also appeared on numerous TV shows and the author of four novels. Janet Leigh passed away on October 3, 2004 , at age 77, from vasculitis.
